I have no idea what Chandler did.
All I know is that one second he was tugging at his leash while lunging at a squirrel that had foolishly abandoned tree...and the next he had yelped and was holding his left rear leg up.
Did he jar his hip due to loss of muscle mass while resting his injured paw?
Pinch a toe in the pile of acorns underfoot?
Do something to cause his hip muscles to spasm again?
I don't know.
I do know that the cut in his webbing didn't reopen, so that probably wasn't it.
I was really afraid he'd gone and done something to his cruciate-
leave it to danger-prone dog to do that while on a leash.
But the obvious limping only lasted 5-10 minutes, and he seems to be...well...normal for Chandler. Sometimes he toes in a bit on that left hind.
At least he felt well enough to sleep sprawled upside down for part of the afternoon.
