Yes, I'm trying to catch up again.
Late in November, the town finally decided that there would be a townwide curbside brush removal to remove all the debris of downed limbs and trees caused by winter storm Alfred. The trucks didn't get to our little dead end until the second week of December. I'm not sure what I had been expecting, but it was not huge trucks with a crane attached.
The amount of debris they could pick up at one time impressive, and the crane operators were impressively skilled. They could twirl the branches around to snap them into smaller pieces, or precisely pick up a single small branch that had fallen out of the bundle.
Chandler was less than thrilled, however. He's never been a fan of big trucks, and these had a HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS crane attached.
I don't like it. Not at all.
